The Industry and Services Sector brings together all industrial branches of the manufacturing industry in its work, and its core activities are carried out through professional associations through which members of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of BiH participate in all activities carried out by the Chamber.

Within the Sector, the interests of members are coordinated through representatives in the bodies and organs of professional associations and producer communities, with an emphasis on improving and developing industrial production, promotion and representation before state and entity governments and ministries, relevant state and federal institutions, international organizations, and abroad.

The Sector’s activities include the following:

• Preparation of reports and analyses of economic trends based on data collected from statistical offices, companies and relevant institutions for individual industrial branches and in aggregate, with comments,
• Creation of a database of members of professional associations and communities with basic information about the members,
• Organization of association and community meetings to discuss current economic issues and adopt measures to improve the situation,
• Connecting domestic companies with foreign companies, as well as seeking potential partners for cooperation with domestic companies;
• Improving and monitoring all forms of long-term technical and business cooperation between domestic and foreign partners, and especially obtaining and transferring industrial property rights (licenses, know-how, patents, protected trademarks and models, long-term production cooperation, business and technical cooperation, etc.) as well as activities related to technological development and the establishment of technology parks, business innovation centers and similar technological hubs in the Federation of BiH;
