1. Partnership relations with executive authorities and administration at the level of the Federation of BiH, namely:

• in the preparation and adoption of laws, regulations and economic policy measures and instruments governing the economic position of business entities;
• in the preparation and adoption of development strategies, sectoral economic policies, protection of domestic production, establishment of an ecologically sustainable development system, development and improvement of the market, and determination of technical and other standards;
• in the preparation and adoption of measures to promote the export of goods and services;
• within its established competence, in representing employers in the preparation and adoption of regulations in the areas of labour, pension and health insurance, wages, etc.;
• in proposing the harmonisation of laws, other regulations and measures adopted in the cantons, with the aim of equalising business conditions throughout the Federation of BiH;
• in other matters of partnership relations defined by special regulations and authorisations;

2. Improvement of the economy and entrepreneurship

• coordinates joint activities of chambers, aligns annual and long-term work programmes, and organises the implementation of joint projects of interest to members;
• proposes and undertakes measures to improve entrepreneurship, analyses the effects of economic regulations and instruments, and proposes measures for restructuring production and services based on sustainable development criteria;
• undertakes measures to improve, develop and apply innovations, inventions, rationalisations, unification of work tools and procedures, standards, and the protection of domestic products and market regulation;
• organises a business information system;
• organises training of personnel in the economy to acquire the necessary knowledge, independently or in cooperation with cantonal chambers;
• provides other services to members;

3. Promotion of the economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina

4. Providing expert consulting services to members and cantonal chambers in project preparation

5. Public authorisations granted to it by law

6. Activities of the Court of Honour and the Permanent Arbitration Court

7. Other activities related to the exercise of the function of the Chamber of the Federation of BiH.
