SUPPORT FOR ENHANCING COMPETITIVENESS AND EMPLOYMENT – ENHANCE

The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is implementing the ENHaNCE project in partnership with the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Zlatibor Administrative District and the Association Center for Education and Awareness Raising on the Need to Increase Energy Efficiency – ENERGIS.

The purpose of the project is to strengthen economic growth and sustainable employment opportunities for industrial small and medium-sized enterprises in the cross-border area of the Sarajevo macro-region and the Zlatibor District, through capacity building for cooperation and commercialization of small and medium-sized enterprises from three sectors (wood, food, and metal processing industries) in the mentioned regions, as well as the development and growth of green and smart innovations.

Among other things, the partners expect the project activities to strengthen direct contacts between companies from border areas, provide new knowledge to both currently employed people in these industrial sectors and a number of unemployed people, and thereby improve their chances of finding suitable employment. The project also improves inter-chamber cooperation between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project is being implemented within the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina 2014–2020.
